I used to roll my eyes, every time my father tried to teach me how to use his film camera. Little did I know, that I was the one to fall in love with photography.
I spent my young adulthood imagining how great it would be to have an international career in business. After receiving degrees in Fashion Merchandising and then in Political Science, while always relegating art into the background, I found myself in sales and unfulfilled.
But, as luck would have it, my life has become international after all. I have spent my childhood in Poland, then almost 20 years in NY, followed by Boston and then Tokyo. I also had the good fortune of visiting numerous other countries. Travel abroad and experiencing different cultures has allowed me to develop strong interest in the world and art. It has also inspired me take notice of the human face, its numerous expressions and emotion they evoke. It is this observation that is the reason why I seek out to do portrait and family photography.
I am not in the business of selling 4x6 prints for your frames. I want my photography to dominate your walls because the images are authentic, beautiful and at times edgy. I have a desire to capture something different and thought provoking. And, I want my work to enhance my clients' living space in meaningful ways.
I am also a proud member of the Professional Portrait Photographers of America.
